1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how VertiSolutions ("VertiSolutions", "we", "us"), of B4, 151 St, Maadi, Cairo, Egypt, collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit vertisolutions.com (the "Website"), send us an inquiry, or apply for a job. VertiSolutions is responsible for the personal data described here. We process it in line with applicable law, including Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).

2. Information we collect

Inquiries and Health Check requests

When you use the Contact form or request a Health Check, we collect your name, work email, company, role, the topic of your message, and what you write to us.

Job applications

When you apply for a role through the Careers pages, we collect:

  • Your name, email address, and mobile number.
  • Your experience level and expected salary.
  • Details the role asks for, such as area of residence, university, faculty, section, graduation year, English level, and earliest start date.
  • Your answers to the role's screening questions, which may include your military service status.
  • Your CV and anything you write about why you want the role.

During the hiring process our team also records your application status, screening and interview scores, and notes.

Technical information

When you submit a form, we use your IP address to protect the Website from spam and abuse. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, browser type, pages requested, and times. The Website does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

3. How we use information

  • To reply to your inquiry and discuss a possible engagement.
  • To deliver a Health Check you requested.
  • To assess your job application for the role you applied for, and to contact you about it.
  • To protect the Website and its forms against spam, abuse, and security threats.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We use application data because you ask us to consider you for a role and agree to this processing when you apply. We use inquiry data to respond to your request. We use technical information because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the Website secure.

4. Screening questions and automatic decisions

Some roles include screening questions for requirements that can't be waived, such as being able to work onsite at our office. If your answer shows that such a requirement isn't met, your application is automatically marked as not progressing. No other part of the assessment is automated. If you think this happened in error, contact us and a member of our team will review your application.

5. Who we share information with

We don't sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it for us, under their terms and security commitments:

  • Namecheap, which hosts the Website, its database, and uploaded CVs.
  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365), which runs our email. Notifications about your submission, and our replies to you, pass through Microsoft 365. Our staff also sign in to the Website's admin area with their Microsoft 365 accounts.
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile), which checks that form submissions come from people rather than bots. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.
  • Google, whose map is embedded on the Contact page. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights. Some of these providers process data outside Egypt. When that happens, we rely on their contractual and security commitments to keep it protected.

6. How long we keep information

  • Job applications, including CVs, are deleted automatically 12 months after the role closes.
  • Inquiries and Health Check requests are deleted automatically 24 months after we receive them.
  • If an inquiry becomes an engagement, or an application becomes employment, the relevant information is kept under the terms of that relationship.

Email notifications about your submission are kept in our mailboxes for no longer than these periods. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see section 7).

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your information, including withdrawing a job application.
  • Restrict or stop using your information for a particular purpose.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. That doesn't affect processing we carried out before you withdrew it. To make a request, email info@vertisolutions.com (or careers@vertisolutions.com for job applications). We may need to confirm your identity first. We respond within the time the law requires. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center.

8. Security

The Website is served over HTTPS. CVs are stored outside the public part of the web server and can be opened only by authorized staff who sign in with their company Microsoft 365 accounts. Changes to an application's status are recorded with the account of the person who made them. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold.

9. Children

The Website isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Cookies

For the cookies and similar technologies the Website uses, see our Cookies Policy.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy, for example when we change a service provider. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
