VertiSolutions is an Oracle-specialist enterprise software firm and an active member of the Oracle Partner Network. We integrate, extend and operate Oracle environments, and build enterprise products and custom applications, for organisations across Egypt and the GCC.
As a Mid-Level Backend Developer, you design and build the services behind our products and client applications: REST APIs, workflow and business logic, and integrations with Oracle Fusion and other enterprise systems, in Python and Django. You work with front-end developers, QA, solution architects and oracle technical and functional teams, and you own features from design to production.
Design and build REST APIs with Django and Django REST Framework
Model data and write efficient queries on relational databases
Build integrations with Oracle Fusion REST APIs and other enterprise systems
Implement business logic such as approval workflows, notifications and scheduled jobs
Secure what you build: authentication (OAuth2 / OpenID Connect), permissions and input validation
Write automated tests and take part in code reviews
Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot services in production
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
2–3 years of professional experience building backends in Python and Django
Strong with the Django ORM, Django REST Framework and relational databases
A good understanding of REST API design, HTTP and authentication
Experience with Git and writing automated tests
Good written and spoken English
Celery or other background-job tools, and Redis
Docker, Linux and CI/CD pipelines
Experience integrating with ERP systems, especially Oracle Fusion
Some React or front-end experience
Sunday to Thursday, 9 AM – 5 PM. Hybrid: part of the week at our Nasr City office, the rest from home.
