VertiSolutions is an Oracle-specialist enterprise software firm and an active member of the Oracle Partner Network. We integrate, extend and operate Oracle environments, and build enterprise products and custom applications, for organisations across Egypt and the GCC.
As a Junior Backend Developer, you build real features in Python and Django from your first weeks: APIs, business logic and integrations, with code reviews and support from experienced engineers. The role is built for learning. You'll grow your skills in API design, databases, testing and enterprise integration.
Build and maintain REST APIs with Django and Django REST Framework
Write database models, migrations and queries
Fix bugs and add features to existing services
Write unit tests and take part in code reviews
Document the APIs and features you deliver
Learn and apply our standards for security, testing and deployment
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Fresh graduate, or up to 1 year of experience
Good Python fundamentals and object-oriented programming
Basic knowledge of Django: a graduation project, internship or personal project counts
An understanding of SQL and relational databases
Familiar with Git
Good written and spoken English
An internship in software development

Sunday to Thursday, 9 AM – 5 PM. Hybrid: part of the week at our Nasr City office, the rest from home.
